Congratulations to Travis Moon, ABC NorCal electrical apprentice, for earning the January 2021 Employee Spotlight!
Greg Sutter, electrical superintendent, says, “Travis has been on Trellis Skilled Nursing Walnut Creek for two years and has stepped up to take a lead role with Bruce Meyers as we are getting closer to completion. Every time I talk to Travis, he is nothing but positive and his teammates agree, they have nothing but great things to say about him. Interview
What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?
Teamwork is definitely my favorite core value. There’s nothing cooler than being on a project where Mark III has all MEP trades on one site. When all of the trades come together on a project we share a common goal, project success, and have fun while doing it.
How do our core values play into your everyday role & responsibilities?
Constantly working hard to innovate so I can play hard after work on my daily trail rides.
How has Mark III helped you in your career development?
Mark III is where my electrical career started. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some awesome foreman who’ve really taken the time to answer questions and help me fully understand the process.
What is your proudest moment at Mark III?
My proudest moments are when I’m driving past a previously completed project and I’ll loudly proclaim that I worked on that project and then proceed to produce pictures of every step of the process, as if it was my child!
What do you do outside of work?
I spend a lot of time outside of work riding dualsport/dirtbikes. I also like to get out there and go hunting, shooting, or hiking.
Do you have a favorite book, movie, or music genre?
I am a big music nerd and enjoy almost anything but tend to stick to death-metal and 90’s hip-hop.
