This project included demolition and a full build out of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a 210,000 SF multi-level vehicle manufacturing facility. The first Gamma Phase included manufacturing storage, assembly, and paint area with professional workspaces on the ground floor. Mark III worked closely with the general contractor and owner to come up with the most cost effective and timely solutions for design challenges met in converting a half century old building into a modern-day electric car manufacturing facility. The mechanical systems included over 250 tons of HVAC; Electrical included a full normal and emergency power distribution system, Title 24 compliant indoor and outdoor lighting system, low voltage cable tray system, and over 50,000 ft. of conduit and wire; Plumbing included underground sewer, gas service, restrooms, and 8” stainless compressed air systems. The sheer volume of work put in place in just 8 ½ weeks made this project truly unique.
