Congratulations to Paul MacPherson, HVAC service technician, for earning the February 2021 Employee Spotlight!

Andy Powne, service division manager, says, “Paul is the ultimate team player. Since joining the Service team, he’s brought his knowledge and broad range of skills to bear on numerous Service jobs, in addition to several from the Mechanical team. Not only is he great at what he does, he’s able to convey his expertise and integrity to customers. In fact, he’s made a name for himself with some of our most challenging clients, who ask for him by name. He’s methodical in the way he goes about solving problems and meticulous about the work product he delivers. We are proud to have Paul on the Service team.”

What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?

Innovation. We have the freedom to express confident leadership with others at the workplace. People look up to me as a confident leader when I bring new ideas to the table and find better ways to approach projects.

How do our core values play into your everyday role & responsibilities?

I would to say I can only lead by example and try to be the best I can be and I hear people comment on my work. Go forward. Be safe.

How has Mark III helped you in your career development?

Training.

What is your proudest moment at Mark III?

There has been a few, but I would have to say the work I have done at J. Sweat is my proudest moment.
