Spotlight on Jason
Congratulations to Jason, HVAC Modeler/BIM Coordinator, for earning the August 2023 Employee Spotlight.
Justin Tucker, VDC Division Manager, says, “Jason’s dedication to teamwork was apparent with his work on the Placerville MOB project, when he stepped up to help the GC lead the BIM coordination efforts on the project. Although the GC understood the value of BIM, they had no idea how to manage the BIM workflow successfully. In addition to leading the BIM efforts, Jason was also responsible for modeling and coordinating all of the ductwork on the project. Often times working late into the evenings or even putting in time on the weekends to ensure he could keep up with his responsibilities. This dedication to getting the work done speaks to both his level of integrity and his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of Mark III’s internal and external customers. Thank you Jason for your dedication to being excellent!! You are appreciated.”

What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?
Teamwork, because the more we all work together and communicate, the more we all succeed.
How do our core values play into your everyday role/responsibilities?
The core values are crucial to my everyday role. A few example of this are teamwork and innovation. Teamwork because our end user of what we produce is the field and the fabrication shop, so the better we communicate and work together the faster we can learn and produce a better product (installs, spools, etc). Innovation is another crucial core value because through innovate we can produce results more efficiently and accurately.
How has M3 MEP helped you in your career development?
M3 has helped me developed a deep trade knowledge, which helps me make a better end product for our field team.
What is your proudest moment at M3 MEP?
My proudest moment is running coordination and modeling for Ampla health and helping to make that job a great success. Overall though I am proud to be part of a dedicated team of innovates who constantly push to make every aspect of what we do better.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy woodworking outside of work.
Favorite book, movie, music (pick one or all)?
My favorite movie is Interstellar. I enjoy listening to classic rock especially Pink Floyd.
