Congratulations to Misty Fogerty, project manager, for earning the June 2023 Employee Spotlight.

I see her step in to help teammates understand the processes and help resolve complex problems and she is known to bring in fresh baked sourdough bread on a regular basis. Not only is she great to be around, but she is also a project management powerhouse. Her technical background, paired with process knowledge and project management expertise makes her a key member of our team. She is currently managing the largest electrical project in company history! Way to go, Misty! We are lucky to have her on our team.”

Interview
What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?
It is hard to pick one, because they all go hand in hand! But if I had to choose between them, I would pick Transparency. Transparency is great for building trust amongst team members and expanding knowledge!
How do our core values play into your everyday role/responsibilities?
Our Core Values truly play a role in every thing I do, every single day. From checking in with all team members to make sure they have the information/tools they need to execute their tasks and providing support where needed – Teamwork! To having the difficult conversations with GC’s and Vendors – Transparency! To encouraging myself and others to think outside of the box and be willing to share new ideas – Innovation! Answering questions and knowing that your co-workers, Vendors and Partners can rely on your word – Integrity. Last but by not means least – M3 MEP is absolutely about Work-Hard Play-Hard! I love hearing my co-workers talk about their upcoming adventures, previous adventures, projects – all of the things! On a team level, M3 MEP does a fabulous job at celebrating the “Work-Hard” with “Play-Hard” – Camping, fishing, trap tournaments, golf tournaments, you name it, I am pretty sure it has been done.
How has Mark III helped you in your career development?
I have had the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, Electrical, and manage HVAC and Plumbing projects. This has really allowed me to understand the overall flow of projects more in depth and allows me to take other trades into consideration during scheduling activities.
What is your proudest moment at Mark III?
Being nominated and winning the Teamwork Core Value by a team-member.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I love to bake, garden, knit, sew and to paddleboard.
Favorite book, movie, music (pick one or all)?
My music taste is all over the board and I could never pick just one – but a few artists/bands would be Tyler Childers, Flatbush Zombies, Beastie Boys and Depeche Mode.
