Interview
What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?
My favorite core value is integrity. Having integrity means I am honest with everyone and I always keep my word and I refuse to compromise no matter what happens. Integrity is something I live by both at work and home life every day.
How do our core values play into your everyday role & responsibilities?
I work and live by our core values every day, including transparency, work-hard-play-hard, and teamwork. I work with a lot of tenacious individuals who also align themselves with Mark III’s core values and that is why after 38 years working with Mark III I know I picked the Best Place to Work.
How has Mark III helped you in your career development?
I get to be a team player in a lot of different departments and committees. One thing that stands out is I was asked to help run the service department for a few months and that ended up lasting for over 2 years. I had no experience in that role, but I did learn a lot.
What is your proudest moment at Mark III?
Being at Mark III for 38 years I have had a lot of proud moments, one is being on the Safety Committee and working towards 100% Accident-Free.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
My family is my everything and I’m in my second chapter of life being a GLAMMY to my four grandchildren makes me smile and keeps me young every day. We do everything together and go on a lot of fun trips or just hang out in the backyard pool and BBQ. I must have done something right because my kids love having me around, which in turn makes my whole world!
What is your favorite movie?
One of my favorite movies is The Blind Side. I love true and inspiring movies.
