M3 successfully delivered a comprehensive MEP package for the Valley Milk AMF Expansion, integrating precision, efficiency, and seamless execution to meet the facility’s operational demands.
Electrical Scope
M3 provided feeder raceways, wiring, and a new 400A circuit breaker to feed critical systems. Terminations to existing circuit breakers were completed, and new breakers were installed in existing panel boards. Power was supplied for single-point equipment connections, general-use devices, and rooftop equipment, with disconnects seamlessly integrated. M3 installed lighting fixtures and associated branch wiring to ensure a fully operational and illuminated facility.
HVAC Scope
M3 installed (3) AHUs, a curb adapter, one ductless split system, soft copper line set, and eight drop box diffusers. The HVAC scope also included two boiler skids with pumps, expansion tanks, chemical pot feeders, and glycol injection systems. All hydronic piping—fabricated from carbon black steel or copper—was installed alongside rectangular ductwork, volume dampers, registers, and grilles. Insulation of hydronic and refrigerant lines was completed to optimize efficiency. M3 ensured the startup, testing, and balancing of all HVAC equipment, delivering a fully functional system.
Piping Scope
M3 installed new acid waste piping, routing a 10-inch line to the on-site water treatment plant and integrating a new manhole for future connections. Critical systems included high-pressure steam, steam condensate, pumped condensate, compressed air, chilled glycol, process soft water, process hot water, and hot water return piping. Trench drains for the truck wash area and gas piping for rooftop HVAC units were also installed.
To meet the clean room’s specialized needs, M3 installed stainless steel pipe racking and a steam condensate pump with associated TIG-welded piping. All piping work was executed seamlessly to ensure zero production downtime in the 24/7 facility.
