This project involved a complete interior fit-out of mechanical and plumbing systems to support the renovation and expansion of the Sacramento Rivercats’ home team facilities and the addition of a new batting tunnel. The scope also included new and upgraded mechanical and plumbing systems to serve the visiting team facility expansion.
M3 coordinated closely with Whiting-Turner throughout the project to overcome challenges typical of a facility revamp. On the plumbing side, poor existing conditions in the sanitary system required close collaboration with the underground contractor to resolve unforeseen drainage issues. On the HVAC side, M3 was tasked with integrating new ductwork and air outlets while maintaining compatibility with existing HVAC equipment. M3’s MEP manufacturing facility prefabricated all HVAC duct to streamline installation and support the aggressive project schedule.
Despite complexities during demolition and installation, M3’s dry and wet teams worked seamlessly to deliver a high-performance plumbing and HVAC system that exceeded client expectations. The result was a top-tier modernized facility that the Sacramento Rivercats are proud to call home.
