Mark III’s scope for this 130K SF casino included the renovation and expansion of HVAC and plumbing systems. The building consists of (2) commercial kitchens, a steakhouse, distillery, coffee shop and gaming floor with card rooms and slot machines.

The HVAC scope includes (8) rooftop units, underfloor air distribution for the large open slot machine rooms, welded grease duct and kitchen exhaust fans for the commercial kitchens. The plumbing scope includes (2) 2500 gallon grease interceptors and a water softening system.

Mark III’s virtual construction team modeled the entire project for BIM coordination. The Mark III manufacturing team kitted a significant portion of the ductwork for easier installation and pre-fabricated and kitted all of the larger plumbing piping in Mark III’s MEP facility. Due to a very condensed schedule, Mark III has phased the project in (15) different zones of work to allow the casino to continue operations during construction.
