Mark III performed the mechanical and electrical scope of work in support of the customer’s testing of high-powered turbochargers and pump systems sold to desalination plants all over the world. The mechanical scope of this project included installation of six (6) 1000 hp pumps, two (2) large heat exchangers, 12” of stainless steel piping, a low pressure carbon steel system up to 18″ pipe, 16” sch 80 carbon steel piping with 900lb flanges and racking, all of which was 100% modeled and prefabricated in our MEP Manufacturing Facility. The system was tested to 1500 PSI and operates at 1100 PSI. The electrical scope included controls, medium and line voltage.
