Mark III Opens MEP Manufacturing Facility

Grand Opening Ceremony

Mark III is proud to announce the grand opening of our new state-of-the-art MEP Manufacturing Facility. We held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 8, 2019.

This facility, along with our talented team, has enabled us to reach a new level of complex manufacturing. This facility is the first of its kind in the region and has the capacity to perform five trades under one roof: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, process piping, and metal stud framing.

Economic Impact

The facility will create more than 50 jobs and over $9 million in total output to the region’s economy. Click here to read more about the facility’s economic impact.

Facility Stats

The new facility includes 93 individual pieces of cutting-edge equipment that operate inside the 24K SF facility. More than 60 interchangeable work cells have been set with tools needed for specific products; allowing for a simplified changeover process as trades shift to meet specific needs of projects.

Production is designed to flow through the facility from single trade assemblies to a multi-trade area. Through the standardization of design and shift to manufacturing, Mark III has been able to execute a delivery method that treats buildings as products rather than projects.

The Future

The facility houses a dedicated training center for next-generation tradesmen. Apprentices can earn welding certifications in-house and gain experience through the flow of trades. Looking ahead, Mark III had secured 3.7 acres for future growth and expansion.
