Mark III Celebrates 50 Years and Looks Ahead to the Future of Construction
Mark III Construction is celebrating 50 years of leading the evolution of construction. Since 1976, the company has grown from its Sacramento roots into a product-driven manufacturing company with MEP installation capabilities, operating through M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components.
As the construction industry faces a shrinking skilled trades workforce, increasing demand for speed to market, and new opportunities created by technology, industrialized construction is becoming increasingly important to how projects are delivered. Mark III continues to invest in productization and offsite manufacturing, moving more work into a controlled environment where building systems can be planned, manufactured, assembled, and tested with greater consistency.
That investment is taking another step forward with Mark III’s new 340,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility at McClellan Park. Purpose-built to support large-scale production of modular pods, componentized wall panels, and prefabricated MEP systems, the facility represents the next chapter for Mark III and its vision for the next 50 years.
