Spotlight on Justin
Congratulations to Justin Tozzi, plumbing and piping trade specialist, for earning the October 2022 Employee Spotlight.
Justin Tucker, VDC division manager, says, “Tozzi truly embodies our core value of Work Hard, Play Hard. When he isn’t in the office managing a team of modelers or grinding through hundreds of pages of drawings, spool sheets and BOM’s, you can usually find him out at the duck club chasing his limit of birds or out on his boat rippin’ lips. In fact, each year Tozzi gathers a group of fellow Mark III employees and organizes a day trip on a charter boat to go out and have a few drinks and slay some fish. It has been an honor to work side by side with Tozzi these last few years and I look forward to working with him for years to come.”

Interview
What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?
Teamwork. I enjoy it when myself and my modelers collaborate with the Foreman and operations team and crush a job.
How do our core values play into your everyday role/responsibilities?
For the people that know me I live all of our core values in and out of work.
How has Mark III helped you in your career development?
Mark III promoted me from the field superintendent to the trade specialist where I have gotten to learn about the virtual world of building projects. I really enjoy doing what we do in Vcon and I see the world of construction changing to the way we build and for the companies that do not make the change they will not be in business.
What is your proudest moment at Mark III?
Every time we have a project that myself and team have been involved with that makes money.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I like to hunt and fish especially with my kids. I also enjoy BBQ and smoking food.
What are your favorite movies?
Caddyshack and Tombstone are some of my favorite movies.
