Spotlight on Josh

Congratulations to Josh Mueller, electrical trainee, for earning the December 2021 Employee Spotlight.

Michael Warren, electrical division manager, says “Josh Mueller lives out every core value Mark III has and embraces these both in and outside of work. Every trade at Mark III and other companies he has come in contact with or worked with, wishes they had him on their crew full time. The entire field team can say they owe any part of success on their project to Josh being their right hand man, not only as an employee but as friend. He knows how to work smart, hard, efficient, and how to make everyone laugh and enjoy the work day even if it’s rough. He represents teamwork by always being reliable and willing to help anyone in need, even other trades. Josh embodies integrity in his every day life, he is trustworthy and I know he will complete and deliver any project or situation he is put in. No matter the location of the project or the hours he’s working he is fully invested in what is best for the company and his team. I’m so proud to have Josh on our team!”

Thank you for your commitment to Mark III, Josh!

Interview

What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?

Teamwork is my favorite core value. I’ve always enjoyed helping and working around others.

How do our core values play into your everyday role & responsibilities?

I’m always trying to get my kids rallied up to help around the house or go to the lake (trying to teach work hard then we play hard). I strive to improve many aspects of my life.  For integrity, I would have to say I’m always going to be brutally honest.

How has Mark III helped you in your career development?

Mark III is always pushing me to learn more and do more. Whether it’s home life, schooling, or work, leadership and the team at Mark III motivate me to become a better  person.

What is your proudest moment at Mark III?

My proudest moment would have to be when I am asked to show someone how to do a task or skill and they are able to soak it in like a sponge. When they do it right the first time, after my instruction, I am very proud.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Motocross is my main hobby. I like rock crawling, classic cars, and basically anything outside or in the garage.

What is your favorite movie?

Favorite book the NEC… just kidding! My favorite book is an autobiography by Jeremy McGrath called Wide Open. My favorite movie is John Wick 1 and for music probably country or rock.
