She is always looking to learn and find better more efficient ways for our team to execute. Her integrity and commitment in all areas of our work is second to none, and we are so lucky to have her on the team.”

Interview

What is your favorite Mark III core value (teamwork, innovation, integrity, work-hard-play-hard, transparency) and how does it play a part in your everyday role & responsibilities?

It’s hard to pick one, but teamwork is my favorite because without my Mark III team I wouldn’t be where I am today in our company. I have grown and learned so much from everyone who I have crossed paths with. From Joe polishing me to Tullio teaching me to rise to new limits, I’ve learned so much. As I started in the field engineer position, I took on responsibilities that I didn’t know I could handle. Teamwork is more than just people working together, it’s sharing a goal.

How do our core values play into your everyday role/responsibilities?

Our core values play a vital role into my everyday responsibilities. I learn by what I see. When I was fresh and working on the conversion job at UCD, I was lucky enough to meet the man who just rocked at everything he did as a PM – Jack McKnight. When I saw how he prepared and strengthened the team through his leadership I knew I wanted to be like him. I took what I learned and brought those experiences to the next job and tried to collaborate strategically like Jack. I put together daily tasks and weekly milestones to keeping everything going. I knew it was going to be tough but together anything is possible.

How has Mark III helped you in your career development?

I have to give Joe Snyder a shout out for my development within Mark III. I started in the manufacturing facility working towards become the next Tullio. Unfortunate events happened while I was working there but blessing came of it, and I became one of the first Field Engineers for Mark III. Joe is humble and always willing to go the extra mile to help in my development, from welding to HVAC classes and more. He put me in a position that he knew I would be awesome in before I even knew it. He really knows how to push people in the right direction to achieve full potential.

What is your proudest moment at Mark III?

My proudest moment is now. This is truly an honor to have been chosen for the spotlight by the man I idolize for I want to be like as a PM. Thank you times a million Jack; I will continue to strive to be like you.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I love to do anything outdoors from fishing to camping lakeside with my family. I love spending time with my daughter watching her grow.

Favorite book, movie, music (pick one or all)?

My favorite books are anything motivational and self-help books.

My favorite movie is the notebook. I know what I am a hopeless romantic.
