Jack McKnight is M3 MEP’s Vice President of Operations and has been with the company since 2015. His experience in multi-trade management and strong leadership abilities make him a great asset to the company. Jack’s B.A. in Business Management from CSU Sacramento, ongoing education from UC Davis, and industry experience have enabled him to build teams of experts in each trade across the office and field. Jack’s management philosophy focuses on leading by example to set his team up for success.
He began his journey in M3’s service department before moving into construction as a project engineer, where he worked on multiple high-profile projects. Soon, he was promoted to project manager and then multi-trade project manager, specializing in healthcare and education markets. One of Jack’s career highlights was working as the project manager on Hutchison-Quad Hot Water Conversion at UC Davis, a multiphase project totaling over $40 million.
In 2020, Jack won M3’s Power of One Award, a peer-nominated annual accolade that celebrates the work, leadership, and partnership that person has upheld during the year. Jack’s passion for the field and building the best teams led him to his next role as VP of Field Operations. His field-first mentality has spread like wildfire across the company, and his superpower is uplifting his team to achieve excellence in client experience, delivering tier-one quality, and being known as the experts in our industry. With continued success, he was promoted to his current role as VP of Operations and owner.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to Tahoe and wine country, golfing, and spending time with his two kids and wife.
