Mark III provided the plumbing scope for the CPLT POM Steam Boiler Fuel Delivery System Upgrades at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. The project scope included the installation of a new duplex fuel oil transfer station to provide positive pressure fuel delivery to auxiliary steam boilers. In addition, Mark III replaced the existing fuel oil supply and return meters, removed dedicated fuel oil pumps at each boiler and replace with spool, and installed new fuel supply taps at an existing day tank with foot valves. Mark III also interlocked new fuel pumps with the start circuit at each boiler and installed new fusible link emergency SOV’s at each fuel oil supply line to each boiler.
