John Cassidy is the Chief Financial Officer and one of the owners at Mark III Construction, overseeing the company’s financial, risk management, and safety teams. With a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, John brings over 30 years of financial and accounting experience to the position.
John joined Mark III following a distinguished career as the corporate controller at Teichert. He brings additional financial leadership experience from companies including Ernst & Young. John is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
In his free time, John enjoys playing almost any sport including shooting hoops at the Y – where he has played for more than 25 years – and participating in Mark III’s bootcamp classes. He and his wife enjoy traveling, spending time with their four grown children, and hosting a youth group in their home once a week.
