Spotlight on Ron

Congratulations to Ron Brannen, underground project manager, for earning the December 2020 Employee Spotlight!

Gabe Deurloo, underground division manager, says, “Ron has been an outstanding teammate and vital piece to the Underground division since joining Mark III. He never hesitates to assist and/or help out anyone in anyway, regardless of how full his plate might be. Well respected by his co-workers, customers, and inspectors for his integrity, dedication, and commitment to his job. Rockin’ the horseshoe mustache and dominating beer stein challenges, the man’s a damn hard worker who treats the company like it’s his own! Much appreciated Ron, thank you!”

Matt Lane, underground project engineer, says, “In the short amount of time I’ve worked with Ron, he’s been a huge help and mentor to me. Whenever I’m stumped or need help, he’s always there to lend a hand. He’s a true team player and has been a great addition to the team. I look forward to learning more from Ron and working with him in the future.”

Thank you for your commitment to Mark III, Ron!

Integrity, I believe it is very important in business and life to be honest. If you’re right, you can never be wrong!

How do our core values play into your everyday role & responsibilities?

I have shared values to those included in our Core Values, which I practice daily and have instilled in my children. Those that I value most are teamwork, integrity and transparency. If you work hard as a team, with honestly and true intentions good things will always transpire.

How has Mark III helped you in your career development?

While at Mark III, I have been able to work with a variety of other trades within our company. Having the experience of other experts within those trades has been a valuable experience, which has allowed me to gain knowledge within those field industries. This has helped my growth within the construction industry overall.

What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, watching my kids play sports, and traveling!

Do you have a favorite book, movie, or music genre?

My favorite book is Rogue Warrior by Richard Marcinko. My favorite movie is Deadpool and my favorite music includes Black Sabbath and Iron Man.
